kung fu is the mother of all martial arts and muay thai is based off of kung fu and karate is based off of kung fu also. Taekwondo is based off a combination of japanese/korean arts. However a lot of Japanese arts have huge influence from korea

WRONG!!! Axe kicks were made by muay thai. For those who don't know martial arts, it came from muay thai. Muay thai is one of the oldest martial arts around, next to kung fu and greco roman wrestling.
